Crystal Palace's new signing Diego Cavalieri says he is ready to play if called upon after joining the Eagles on a short-term deal.
The 35-year-old Brazilian has put pen to paper on a deal until the end of the season with Palace, boosting Roy Hodgson's options in the goalkeeping department with Julian Speroni currently out injured.
And the former Liverpool man, who worked with Hodgson briefly during his time as manager at Anfield, says he is pleased to be back in English football.
"I am very happy to be here and have been training with the guys for some time now," he told the club website.
"The atmosphere in the dressing room has been really good and they have received me very well, so we can talk a lot and get to know everyone.
"I am very happy with this opportunity and how they receive me."
