Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom, doubts the capacity of the All Progressives Congress (APC) federal government to fight corruption in the country. Ortom expressed this yesterday at Idekpa, Ohimini Council, while canvassing support for his re-election and that of other candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to the PDP gubernatorial candidate, the APC government led by Muhammadu Buhari is not sincere in its fight against corruption, but is rather witch-hunting PDP members.
Tagging most of the people in the current federal cabinet as corrupt, he urged the people to vote for Atiku Abubakar as president because of his capability to address the country’s challenges.
Ortom further encouraged them to vote for other PDP candidates, stressing that “PDP is the only party that can fix the country’s challenges and restore its lost glory.”
