Otukpo-icho is one of the native villages in otukpo and idoma land as a whole with the combination of both Christians and traditionalist. It is a village known for peace and a home full of brave people and law abiding individuals. A family lost their father who happen to be someone who practice the culture of the land and is fully into it.after the mans death the children all gathered and forcefully want to bury their father in the christian way. And they called policemen to arrest people.now the body is in the police station.the question now is where were the children when their father was eating the traditional meat and drink?

Senate says Nigeria accounts for 40% of gas flared annually in Africa The Senate said on Wednesday that Nigeria accounts for over 40 per cent of the gas flared annually across Africa,  which amounts to about $7 billion in waste, Vanguard reports. It also declared Nigeria was losing over $2.5 billion to gas-flaring  annually and that the country also accounts for an estimated two billion standard cubic feet of flared gas, which amounts to about 19 per cent of gas flared globally. The upper legislative chamber has, therefore, set in motion a machinery to repeal the 39-year-old law which recommends only N10 as fine for gas flaring.
