‘There is no crack in the ranks of Benue APC

The Director-General of Jime – Ode campaign Organisation, Chief Tilley Gyado on Monday said there is no crack in the Benue state chapter of the All Progressive Congress ( APC). Speaking to journalists in his Makurdi residence Chief Gyado said APC is one big family and are going into Saturday polls as a united force. He dismissed report by The National Newspaper that there was a crack in APC, saying the key APC chieftain who made the allegations of division at the meeting failed to provide evidence. He called on APC supporters in Benue state to disregard the reports and vote massively for APC in all elections. Chief Gyado said Benue is going to vote massively for APC on Saturday.

Eden Hazard says he is more suited to the philosophy of Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri than former boss Jose Mourinho. Sarri admitted after Sunday’s 6-0 defeat at Manchester City that his position at Chelsea is under scrutiny, with his side dropping out of the top four after three league defeats in their last four games. Juventus confirm Aaron Ramsey deal

Arsenal forward Aaron Ramsey has signed a pre-contract agreement to join Juventus at the end of the season. The Wales international will end his long association with Arsenal after agreeing terms on a four-year deal which will reportedly pay him £400,000 per week. Ramsey’s deal at Emirates Stadium expires in June and he had already confirmed his intention to leave after negotiations over a new deal were ended by the club. Court Orders Forfeiture of N1billion Traced to Patience Jonathan

patience jonathan By Alex Enumah in Abuja A Federal High Court sitting in Kano has ordered the temporary forfeiture of the sum of N1,000,494,000 (One Billion, Four Hundred and Ninety Four Thousand Naira) traced to a bank account allegedly belonging to wife of former President, Patience Jonathan. Justice A. Lewis-Allagoa, gave the order in a ruling on a motion ex parte filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), seeking for the interim forfeiture of the money. According to a statement by the EFCC, the said amount was found in the Bank account of Magel Resort Limited, a company linked to the former First Lady of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan and was  lodged in three deposits with Fidelity Bank Plc on May 20 and 25, 2015. Alhaji Bala Bello Tinka (alias Tinka Point), the Director General of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign organisation in Gombe State has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He met with President Muhammadu Buhari at State House, Abuja, on Friday, where he pledged allegiance to the APC. Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), made the announcement in a statement. Tinka also vowed to bring his political weight to bear on the election of the President for a second term in office. “Coming exactly a fortnight to the presidential election, the defection of Alhaji Tinka deals a massive blow to the PDP in Gombe. PDP currently governs the state, and has done so since 2003”, the statement added “President Muhammadu Buhari campaigns in Gombe Saturday, and Alhaji Tinka is expected to formally join the APC, alongside others, during the event,” he said.
